9:00 Today I have a day off. I just woke up and weighted myself- wow, three pounds (1,5 kg) less than yesterday! Now that's a lot for a day! I know those pounds will come back once I start eating but still it's interesting to see how my body reacts. My boyfriend again is sure that after the detox I'll gain a lot of weight because my body thinks it's a famine and has to save everything I eat for later - in body fats that is. We'll see! I think the point is to bring back food slowly, to start with smoothies and veggies and so. I don't really know if I manage to do that. Anyways, now I'm having some hot ginger water, my detox tea and a little bottle filled with red beet, apple, kale, ginger and lemon juice and don't even crave for more! This day is going to be easier, even though I'd love to eat! But I don't feel like I need to!
10:30 By now I've sat around and had the nut milk and a lot of tea. I still feel a bit tired but have a lot to to do today so I'd better kick my butt now and get going!
16:53 What a strange day today. Around 12 (only three days after standing up!) I was so tired I needed a nap and slept for one hour! Crazy what this cleanse does to me! Either it uses all my energy to clean my body or I just don't get enough calories from those juices. After the nap I went on a walk and have to admit that I got myself a mini (200ml) smoothie (all natural, no sweeteners). I hope this is ok, because the cleanse works exactly this way - you consume the vitamins and minerals you need but nothing that your stomach has to process. And I really needed that smoothie. Today has been easier, I have not been as hungry as yesterday, but still at some points my body craves food. Right now I am actually hungry and I only have one more juice for tonight left. Time for some more tea I guess!
18:00 Day two is almost over - yes! I have to say I haven't had too much energy to do anything today and I have to wear three sweaters 'cause I'm freezing so badly, but I've kept myself busy so I won't think about food too much (I only had the other half of yesterday's banana today, that's all!). And the evenings are easier somehow, I have a lot of energy, even without eating! I hope and bet that tomorrow will be the easiest day, people always tell me that the beginning is the hardest, after that your body gets used to the juices. The hunger is really annoying. One thing that is funny though is that I don't get tired of the juices - I still love them so much, they're so yummy! I actually have to restrain myself from drinking them all at once!
21:45 My boyfriend comes home from soccer training and I am ACTUALLY cooking for him! Gnocchis and a carbonara sauce (things he rarely gets to eat when I cook for us both), it smells good but I can restrain myself from eating too. I have tea and watch him. He pities me but I'm feeling fine. It's good to have his support though! We talk about what we're doing tomorrow and on saturday and how I can get through this - it's not a long way anymore! Also, some followers in instagram have given me hope. It's only four days in my life which will be over so soon, but I can always be proud of myself and expect some amazing results, so it's worth it! People, if you're doing a cleanse, GET YOURSELF SOME MOTIVATERS! Friends, followers, family, whatever! Tell them to keep you motivated and tell you that it will be over soon and that you can do this, it will make the whole thing so much easier!
