Hey fellow berry fans (I know you are!). After my Guest Editor week at Finnberry I of course have to say what I think about them on my blog too. First of all: You can use them for about EVERYTHING. They make your food nutritious and fill it with vitamins but moreover (oh my, I'm such an insta geek) they make your food so PRETTY! Have you checked out Finnberry's homepage yet? So, what does this Finnberry make? Finnish berries, obviously. And since I'm finnish, have grown up picking berries in the forests myself, I really do miss it. So promoting Finnberry's products was like a chance from heaven! I get to have my favourite berry treats and share them with you all. And Finnberry sells berries in every possible way: as powders, dried and covered in chocolate. Furthermore, the berry powders are concentrated, which means that they contain even more vitamins and antioxidants than the original berries. Only add a teaspoon of berry powders and you get so many nutritients it's crazy! Cranberries (karpalo) are very well known for a special drink🍷🍸, but they don’t only go well with vodka but also in all kinds of foods, as they’re really healthy! Cranberries protect our cardiovascular system and our liver and protect us from kidney stones. Also they’re used to prevent urinary tract infections. Furthermore, thanks to all the vitamins they contain (A, C, E, K1) they’re effective at fighting against infections and boosting general wellness.😷

Lingonberries (puolukka) in fact are my favourite berries in the world. You might know them from IKEA but they're really nothing like the oversugared mash you get there! To me they taste like home and my grandparents, because I used to pick them with them and my grandma always made lingonberry jam! Lingonberries are little tangy tasting berries, that make the most delicious dishes (absolute best berry dish ever? My whipped lingonberry pudding!). And here come the facts: They are a good source of vitamin C and antioxidants. They can lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, •prevent heart diseases and •decrease inflammation. This makes lingonberries real cancer fighters! And the best part? A new research shows that lingonberries help us loose weight! So now: why would you order superfoods that are produced in China or the rainforests and have to travel around the world for you if you can get some from the unpolluted forests of Nordic Finland? 🌲🌳🐻 Do the environment a favour and stop importing foods from too far away. ✈️🚫 And if you're not from the UK? Order them from Amazon (direkt link HERE!)! Finland should be closer to you than the rainforests are and so you really make the trees and animals around you happy!
